Harold Orlinsky has been appointed President of HYPACK, Inc. Founded in 1984, the company (formerly Coastal Oceanographics, inc.) has evolved from a small hydrographic consultant to one of the most successful providers of hydrographic and navigation software worldwide.
He began his hydrographic career as a NOAA field officer in 1989. He joined HYPACK in 2005 as a hydrographer on the support staff and has served as Chief Operations Officer since 2008.
His new duties will include long-term strategic planning to keep HYPACK at the forefront of the hydrographic software industry. Pat Sanders will continue to serve as the manager of the software development group and chairman of the board.
