Long reach excavator specialists, WM Plant Hire, are using their 65 tonne machine to clear an area of the dock basin at Canary Wharf ahead of a major development.
Working with main Contractor, Commercial Marine & Piling, the machine is removing obstructions at depths up to 16 meters and is fitted with a sophisticated electronic dig system.
The site which forms an eastward expansion of Canary Wharf is to be a unique waterside development with a new town square and high street, founded on urban design principles.
