BAM Clough Joint Venture has completed the fifth iron ore loading berth at Anderson Point Facility (AP5) in Port Hedland, Western Australia for Fortescue Metals Group.
The works included the design and construction of a 306-meter long wharf extension, seven berthing dolphins, and the supply and installation of wharf conveyor modules. The construction of the AP5 marine structures at Port Hedland started in March 2014.
BAM Clough is a 50/50 joint venture between BAM International and Clough Limited. Established in 1964 the joint venture celebrated 50 years of successful project delivery in 2014. BAM Clough has successfully delivered 15 major jetty and near shore marine projects throughout Australia and Papua New Guinea.
