A land reclamation project will be carried out west of Tuas View Extension from April 3 until October 3, according to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

This reclamation program will include soil improvement, shore protection, sand filling, and construction of rock revetment.

Excavation will be carried out by grab dredgers and sand filling will be carried out by crane barges and flat top barges.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

The reclamation work forms part of the expansion of Jurong Island and Tuas View Extension, which is the largest land reclamation project in Singapore.
