Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) was recently awarded the “Achievement of year 2014” award for the realization of the project, dredging the sea port “Yuzhny”.
One of the most important infrastructural achievements of the previous year was the creation of the deep-water area in Black Sea at the sea port “Yuzhny”.
During the project, approx 16 million m³ of soil was dredged from the area.
The performing of dredging works created conditions for safe acceptance and servicing of Capesize type heavy cargo vessels with a draft of 18.5 meters.
