Dragflow, an Italian company specialized in solid pumping solutions, has supplied a new dredger (DRH85/160E22DFHD) to Central Africa for a mineral extraction project.
After the extraction, the materials (silt and sand) are on its to a washing plant which separates minerals from other elements.
Since dredging depth is about 50 meters, the dredger is provided with an hydraulic spooler with umbilical, for recovering the set of oil hoses feeding pump plus cutters.
An innovative dredging solution is that the hose reel is not in the front of the dredger, as usual, but between the power pack and the operator cabin, so the operator can have a better view.
