The Florida Ports Council has released their new publication – the 2015 State of Florida’s Seaports, prepared by the Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development Council.

The report provides an updated port profile for each of Florida’s seaports, including economic impact information and status updates for their major projects, accomplishments and testimonials.

This report also provides a summary of the strides that Florida’s seaports have made from a statewide perspective due to the strategic investments and regulatory relief supported by Governor Scott and the Florida Legislature, and how ports are preparing to capture future international and domestic business for Florida.

“ Our seaports are working hard to continue to be competitive against U.S. and international ports, committed to moving freight efficiently, and connected to global markets in order to serve businesses and consumers ,” the Florida Ports Council stated.
