As part of a five-year dredging program at Lymington Yacht Haven, pontoons M and N were successfully dredged during the early part of 2015.
The dredging restored both pontoon fairways and every berth to a minimum of 2.5m below Chart Datum.
In addition, the busy areas at the marina entrance and in front of the hoist bay were dredged to maintain good depth.
Yacht Havens Group has a long history with dredging, especially in Lymington.
In the 1960’s, Boskalis Dredging Group were originally commissioned to dredge a new marina in Lymington; the marina is still in the same family ownership today.
