The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has officially begun construction of a new F.Magoodhoo harbor.
Inauguration ceremony, held on April 18th 2015, was attended by Senior officials from the Ministry, MTCC and the people of Magoodhoo island.
Under the project a new harbor with the size of 500 feet by 250 feet wide will be constructed. Included in the project is construction of rock revetment and quay wall, building a pavement following the quay wall and installation of lights.
The project, which is worth approx $2.6 million and funded by the Government of Maldives, will be completed by the contractor within 351 from the date of commencement.
