Sunset Beach Renourishment on the Way

Today, April 27th, the City of Tarpon Springs will begin a sand re-nourishment project at Sunset Beach that is aimed to restore the beach from erosion. Today, April 27th, the City of Tarpon Springs will begin a sand re-nourishment project at Sunset Beach that is aimed to restore the beach from erosion.

During the project, portions of the beach will be closed so that crews working on the re-nourishment can perform job safely.

Crews expect to keep a portion of the beach open to the public at all times.

The project is expected to be complete no later than Friday, May 1, 2015.
