CCCC Tianjin Dredging Company (TDC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company, recently won the bid for Phase 1 of a waterway development project in the Gaoshaling zone of Tianjin Port.
With a dredging volume of some 20.76 million cubic meters and a total construction period of 627 days, the project involves widening of the waterway and deepening to -12.7 meters.
After its completion, this development program will further improve the operating capacity of Tianjin Port and inject new power into the development of the Bohai Rim Economic Circle.
TDC owns a modern dredging fleet with a total installed power of nearly 580,000 kW comprising nearly 80 dredgers and auxiliary vessels.
