The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, has just released a video about the Broadkill Beach replenishment program.
The project, being performed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and New Jersey-based Weeks Marine, comes as a part of the Delaware River Main Channel Deepening scheme.
The beachfill work includes placement of dredged material onto about 15,000 linear feet of Broadkill Beach.
All dredging works and services under this project are expected be completed no later than 15 April 2016.
