Infor, the industry cloud company, today announced that Boskalis, a provider of dredging and maritime solutions, has selected Infor CloudSuite™, a fully integrated, cloud-based solution suite delivering leading-edge core ERP, integration, social, and analytic capabilities.
Boskalis has transitioned over the last years from a dredging company to an integrated maritime service provider.
Infor CloudSuite will enable Boskalis to focus on implementing a fit for purpose backbone for the core activities in its growth plan rather than its IT infrastructure.
The solution offers Boskalis enhanced flexibility and the opportunity to reduce costs while benefiting from higher availability, by leveraging the global infrastructure of AWS for its worldwide operations.

Boskalis will complete this project through the Infor UpgradeX program, which provides a simple, predictable path to help customers upgrade from on-premise applications to the Infor Business Cloud. Companies like Boskalis can leverage existing Infor investments to migrate to the 10x-enabled versions of Infor applications in the cloud, helping them to reduce associated costs and risks, and minimize disruption to daily operations.
Boskalis will begin implementing Infor CloudSuite in the Netherlands and expects its first users to be operational in 2016. When most of the Netherlands is operational, the deployment will spread to Boskalis locations globally over the course of the next years.
Included in the suite of applications are Infor LN, Infor ION®, Infor Ming.le™, Infor Expense Management (XM) and Infor Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management (d/EPM).
