The fifth European Marine Sand and Gravel Group (EMSAGG) conference ‘Marine sand and gravel – finding common ground’ will take place this week, on 4-5 June 2015 in Delft, the Netherlands.
This EMSAGG conference will cover a range of topics highly relevant to the dredging industry, its regulators, customers and other stakeholders covering both technical and non-technical issues.
The technical scope potentially includes geophysical and other detection methods, mapping techniques, extraction methods and applications.
The conference builds on the success of the four previous conferences delivered by EMSAGG and will bring together those actively involved in this area to share knowledge, research and best practice case studies.
It will also explore how stakeholders’ needs can be reconciled and the role of a responsible dredging industry in moving towards a sustainable outcome.
