Vitol Virgin Islands Corporation and the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) are beginning with the Richmond Channel dredging works and dock improvements at the Richmond facility.

Dredging activity is anticipated to last for a period of four weeks and will be conducted intermittently in order to accommodate other construction activities.

All work will be performed in accordance with provisions and conditions of the recently issued Army Corps of Engineers permit.

The work comes as the last major portion of the construction phase for the recently introduced propane conversion project.
