The Institution of Civil Engineers’ (ICE) 8th Coastal Management Conference will take place on 7-9 September 2015, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This is the first time ICE is organizing the event outside of the UK.
Occurring every four years, this international conference will attract engineers, scientists and coastal management professionals from across the world. ICE’s Coastal Management conferences are recognized for focus on current issues, research and practical application.
“ As well as speakers from the UK, we especially welcome speakers and delegates from countries including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, China, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia and all other countries who are leaders in coastal management, ” ICE stated.
The Netherlands was chosen as it is highly active in Coastal Zone Management. The country offers many leading examples of innovation, technology and general management, and there are many best practice case studies to be drawn from there.
