This project will extend Broadkill Beach for additional 150 feet seaward and approximately 2 million cubic yards of sand will be added to the beach.
The scheme, being performed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and New Jersey-based Weeks Marine, comes as a part of the Delaware River Main Channel Deepening program.
