CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for the reclamation project in Shentou, Hainan Province, with a contract a construction period of one year.
The contract involves forming a land with an area of some 508,700 square meters and an elevation of 6.5 meters. This will be achieved by reclaiming land, constructing 2,538 meters of cofferdams and backfilling them with 3.597 million cubic meters of earth.
The project is located in the north waters of Shentou Port Zone in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Hainan Province.
After its completion, the project will effectively improve the handling capacity of the bulk terminal of Yangpu Port, the largest import and export port in the South China Sea.
