An extraordinary meeting of Shoalhaven City Council, scheduled for this Tuesday, will discuss the tender for the Shoalhaven dredging project.
Council called selective tenders following an expression of interest process to undertake dredging works and beach nourishment at Lake Conjola, Currambene Creek and Sussex Inlet.
Three companies registered interest for this project and were invited as a selective tender, which closed on June 19.
Two submissions were received by close of tenders from Sandpiper Dredging Pty Ltd of Tweed Heads and Thiess Services Pty Ltd of Parramatta.
More than $2 million in funding has been allocated for the project.
