A working session chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Viktor Olerskyi, dedicated to current issues and future plans of Korsakov Sea Port, was held recently at the Sakhalin Branch office in Korsakov Sea Port.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot Aleksandre Poshivay, Executive Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Andrey Lavrishchev, Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch Vyacheslav Vlasenko, representatives from FSBI “Administration of seaports of Sakhalin, the Kuriles and Kamchatka”, regional and local governments, and representatives from other institutions conducting activities in Korsakov Sea Port.
During the meeting, participants discussed in details peculiarities for the preparation of project documentation for the passenger terminal construction in Korsakov Sea Port. Also, issues on assurance of safe navigation in Korsakov Sea Port along with future plans on passenger terminals construction in seaports of Sakhalin Region, were discussed as well.
