DEME Group has just published the latest photos of its trailing suction hopper dredgers ‘Zeeland’ and ‘Piet Hein’, working on the Waddenzee dredging scheme in the Netherlands.
These works comprise the deepening and/or maintenance of the navigation channels and ports located in the mentioned area.
The Survey department carries out daily soundings and processes all measurement data.
The dredged spoil consists of sludge and sand and some of this material will be sold by DEME’s sand processing company. The works are being directed from the company’s office in Harlingen.
