Mega trailing suction hopper dredger ‘Congo River’ has just moored at the Antwerp Cruise Terminal in Belgium.
At the occasion of the start of the third stage of the Tour de France in Antwerp, DEME’s flag ship passed by on her trip between Turkey and Russia.
With an impressive length of 168 m and a hopper capacity of 30,000 m³, the TSHD Congo River is the largest and most performing trailing suction hopper dredger of DEME’s fleet.
The vessel will be open to the public today, between 10 am and 5 pm, at the Antwerp Cruise Terminal.
