Photo Update: 2,000 Visitors on Congo River

In order to celebrate the start of the 159.5km long stage three of the Tour de France (Antwerp to Huy), DEME’s trailing suction hopper dredger Congo River was moored and open for tours yesterday at the Antwerp Cruise Terminal. In order to celebrate the start of the 159.5km long stage three of the Tour de France (Antwerp to Huy), DEME’s trailing suction hopper dredger Congo River was moored and open for tours yesterday at the Antwerp Cruise Terminal.

The vessel, being the largest and most performing trailing suction hopper dredger of DEME’s fleet, was open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm.

According to DEME, around 2,000 visitors climbed aboard the Congo River in Antwerp during the Tour de France.
