Macky Sall, the President of Senegal, kicked off the Saloum River dredging project located in the Fatick region last month.
Jan De Nul Group’s hopper dredger De Bougainville has been mobilized to undertake this work, with the main goal to deepen the entrance of the Port of Foundiougne-Ndakhonga.
This development project, worth approximately $61 million, will connect the central and southern regions of the country.
