Neumann Contractors, a Queensland based dredging, fabrication and civil contractor, has just released a video of their dredger Nu Endeavour at work in the Maroochy River during the Maroochy foreshore replenishment project.
The project involves the dredging of 70,000 m3 of marine sands from the Maroochy River mouth and placing the material up to 2,000 meters away on the beaches between Maroochydore SLSC and Alexandra Headland SLSC.
“ This is a project that has been undertaken on a popular waterway with the material being placed on a beach that is also very popular with locals and tourists alike. We have been working closely with the Sunshine Coast Council and in particular with the public’s safety and amenity in mind ,” said David Neumann of Neumann Contractors.
