This coming Sunday, DEME is again taking part in the Flanders Port Day, a joint initiative of the Flanders government and the four Flanders ports.
DEME in this way is emphasizing the importance of the maritime cluster in the home market, from which their worldwide activities have grown.
One of the attractions will be the trailing suction hopper dredger Artevelde in Zeebrugge where, on Sunday afternoon, Flanders Minister Ben Weyts will also pay a visit.
The dredger Artevelde is one of DEME’s imposing dredgers that is used among other things for maintenance work on the routes giving access to the Flanders ports.
