The Legend Lake Property Owners Association has applied for a Department of the Army permit to discharge dredged and fill material along 49 linear feet of Legend Lake.
The purpose of the project is to stabilize the lake shore, which has been undercut by wave action and erosion, by installing riprap and aspen fiber blocks.
As a result of the proposed bank stabilization project, approximately 49 linear of open water would be permanently filled.
The applicant has proposed to implement erosion control best management practices to minimize potential impacts to undisturbed lake shore.
Compensatory mitigation has not been proposed as part of this application.
