The Environment Agency and Teignbridge District Council (TDC) are continuing work on the £14 million Dawlish Warren beach management scheme.
Following a number of surveys conducted, between May and August 2015, the Environment Agency continues with the sampling of the seabed. The teams collected ‘cores’ from Pole Sands to find out what type of sediment it is made of. Also, Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) were installed on the sea bed in the estuary.
A public exhibition about the scheme is being held on 26 November 2015 from 2pm to 8pm at the Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish Warren. A range of information will be available including:
Members of the project team will also be there to answer any questions and to listen to people’s views.
