The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will host its Dredging Forum “Our Economy is Aground” on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Stone Harbor Golf Club from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
Congressman Frank LoBiondo will be the keynote speaker addressing concerns on the federal level followed by a panel of speakers to discuss dredging issues on the state and local levels.
“ New Jersey is in crisis mode. The need to dredge our waterways is affecting our economy, in terms of tourism, real estate and local governments, and we need answers, ” stated the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce in the event announcement.
Topics to be covered include Winter Flounder Regulations; New Disposal Options; New and Pending Legislation; Regional Solutions; and Re-Use Opportunities.
