Royal IHC (IHC) – a Dutch maritime group focused on the design and construction of vessels and services for the offshore, dredging and wet mining markets – has just posted this Cutter Pump photo on its facebook page.
The picture shows three brand new CutterSpecial® pumps with Curve® impeller ready to be delivered to the customer Jan De Nul Group.
The main feature of the pump is the enlarged width of the passage, which allows the dredger to pump rocks and bigger stones without any difficulty.
When dredging rocks, the special characteristics of the pump result in an increase in the number of productive working hours and increased production during those hours.
