The Coastal Sediment Management Workgroup (CSMW) will host a public meeting on December 2, 2015, at Pacifica Community Center in Pacifica, CA.

The main goals of this event are to present updates and solicit comments on the Coastal Regional Sediment Management Plan for the San Francisco Littoral Cell (SFLC), which stretches from the Golden Gate south to Point San Pedro through the adjacent watersheds and includes the communities of San Francisco, Daly City, and Pacifica.

The CSMW is partnering with local agencies, organizations, stakeholders and consultants to develop the SFLC Plan.

Primarily, the Plan is intended to provide guidance to government entities, municipalities, stakeholders, and communities as they develop strategies for addressing coastal erosion and storm damage during the upcoming decades.

The CSMW convened a series of meetings in 2011-2012 to gather input on the Plan, and this public meeting is a continuation of that process.
