The Conwy County Borough Council is seeking a contractor for the Coastal Defense Maintenance – 4 Year Term Service Contract .
The Council manages over 50km of artificial sea defense infrastructure which includes the promenades at Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Llanfairfechan and Penmaenmawr.
Currently, within the domain of the Council, the shoreline management plan is to “hold the line” under which the best effort will be made to maintain the existing coastline morphology.
The service will comprise (but not limited to) the following general maintenance and repair works to the coastal defense assets of the Council:
