Cowes Harbour Commission has received an application for a maintenance dredging licence for the East Cowes Marina (ECM).
The area to be dredged includes the K – L basin and extends south to the M – N basin and the P – Q basin.
The final dredge level will be to approximately 2.5m below chart datum (CD).
The amount of spoil dredge material to be removed is approximately 20,000 cubic meters. The work is aimed to be carried out in late January and early February of 2016; this will form the third phase of the three year project to remove 30,000 cubic meters of silt from ECM which commenced in 2013.
The deadline for comments or objections is 14th January 2016.
