Next week starting Monday, December 14th, the Town of Carolina Beach will close the beach for renourishment project.
The town will close the beach access and public parking lot at the end of Ocean Blvd. for approximately six weeks so Marinex Construction, Inc. can set up equipment and stage piping for the beach renourishment project.
Marinex will install pipes running from Ocean Blvd. in Carolina Beach south to Kure Beach. The pipes will be on the beach until the end of the project in mid-February. Beach patrons should use caution in these areas and stay out of all areas that are fenced off due to construction.
