The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Columbia River Clamshell Maintenance Dredging 2016.

Dredging work under this contract will take place at two locations along the Columbia River: Bonneville and Longview.

The anticipated scope within the Bonneville contract will include dredging and placement of 750 to 1,000 cubic yards of material and the environmental in-water work window is December 1 through February 28.

The Longview part of the scheme will include dredging and placement of approximately 3,500 to 4,000 cubic yards of material with placement in-water in the Columbia River within ten miles (one-way). The environmental in-water work window for this quantity can be at any time.

Contract award is anticipated during the first half of February 2016.
