The UK-based company Subsea Tooling Services (STS) last week participated at the Subsea Expo in Aberdeen, showcasing some of the latest developments and technologies in the industry.
The company – offering high performance subsea dredgers and associated tooling – took the opportunity to unveil its latest product, the new 3” Gremlin Dredger.
“At Subsea Expo in Aberdeen last week we launched the new 3” Gremlin Dredger and later this year we aim to release the 12” Titan dredger ,” said to our reporter Billy Milne, Business Development Director at Subsea Tooling Services.
Apart from the new Gremlin Dredger, the visitors could also see STS range of Predator Dredgers that have been designed and built to the highest standards.
“ We also showcased a range of Predator Dredgers which include 4, 6, 8 and 10” dredgers ,” continued Milne. “ Our 6” dredger comes with backflush in the event of any blockages. ”
According to Milne, the dredgers are of a completely new design to which there is nothing like them in the current market place. Each dredger system has its own dedicated storage box that houses the dredger and associated components.
“ With a proven track record these units have proved to be at least 30% more efficient than any other dredger on the market which saves valuable vessel time in this tough economic climate ,” he added.
Designed to be configured and reconfigured subsea without the need of recovery and with the jetting agitator as standard the Predator range of subsea dredgers are indeed unique.
