Rijkswaterstaat has invited bidders to submit their offers for the design and implementation of the Twente Canal Expansion – Phase 2.

The Twente canal forms the connection of the IJssel with companies and ports in Lochem and Twente.

It is anticipated that the operations, including deepening and widening of the channels, will cover a stretch of approximately 19 kilometers in total.

The deadline for this tender is March 30, 2016.
