Van Oord, a Dutch contracting company that specializes in dredging and land reclamation, has announced that their Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Arjan van de Kerk, will retire at the end of the year after having been employed at the company for 18 years.
In consultation with the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board of Van Oord has decided to appoint drs. Jolanda Poots-Bijl RC. as the new CFO.
She will start as of 19 September while Mr. Van de Kerk will step down at the end of 2016.
Jolanda Poots-Bijl has held several financial positions over a period of almost 25 years. She is presently CFO at Ordina (ICT) and was previously CFO at Volker Wessel.
