Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) is presenting an extensive range of 33 construction equipment including 10 excavators and 5 wheel loaders meeting EU Stage IV emission regulations at Bauma 2016 in Munich, Germany from April 11-17.

The construction equipment being displayed at the event has versatile applications for construction, utility, mining, quarrying, etc.

During the show, HHI will debut 10 new Stage IV regulations compliant excavators ranging from 14-ton to 52-ton and 5 HL series wheel loaders ranging from 158 bp to 380 bp.

The most significant features of these machines worth taking note are that all HX series excavators are Stage IV compliant, and thus generate 90 percent less NOx emission than their predecessors.

HX series also offer an array of intelligent electronic support for operators such as Eco Gauge Guidance on the control panel making it easy for the operators to monitor the status of engine torque and fuel efficiency using colors and gauge level, and Intelligent Power Control (IPC) that automatically controls the fuel pump flow depending on work environments.

The Floating Mode feature automatically optimizes boom operations according to the shape of the terrain the excavators operate on, and the smart start button and haptic switch also increase operators’ convenience.

In terms of safety, HX excavators are equipped with the Advanced Around View Monitoring (AAVM) system that provides operators with the field of vision for all directions. Thanks to the AAVM system, the operators can detect people or dangerous objects within five-meter range.
