The City of Bremen has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Bremerhaven dredging contract.
This cleanup scheme will include maintenance dredging of approximately 160,000 m³ of wet silt from the Bremerhaven areas by hopper dredger.
Under the contract, the material dredged from the harbor should be transported to the settling depot “de Slufter” in Rotterdam and the Integrated Dredged Disposal Area in Bremen-Seehausen.
The necessary statutory waste permits need to be obtained by the client, according to the City of Bremen announcement.
The project is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2016 and the completion is set for June 30, 2017.
Deadline for this tender is June 26, 2016.
