MPA Announces More Dredging at Temasek Fairway

With effect from 13 August 2016 to 12 January 2017, dredging works will be carried out in Temasek Fairway, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) announced today.

According to the MPA notice, these operations will be carried out by the grab dredgers, hopper barges and pusher tugs.

The grab dredgers will be held in position by spuds-systems within the working area.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other crafts in the vicinity of the working area of the project.

Dredged materials will be transported to the designated dumping ground by hopper barges.
