Idreco BV, a subsidiary of Rohr International Dredge Holdings and Ellicott Dredge Enterprises, announces that Wim Snippe, the Managing Director of Idreco BV, has decided after a long career in designing and building dredges and pumps to retire from the company.
“We will miss Wim’s creative approach to dredge design but wish him the best in his new ventures ,” said Fulco Vrooland, Managing Director of Rohr-Idreco Dredge Systems’ European Operations.
Heiko Osterchrist, Managing Director of the Rohr-Idreco Dredge Systems group , added: “I have worked closely with Wim for four years since we acquired Idreco, and his contributions will be missed. The Rohr-Idreco Dredge group will continue to expand its international footprint in being the leading designer and supplier of dredges, high efficiency pumps and dredge-related equipment and components.”
NEW DEVELOPMENTS
Idreco BV also announces that Peter Jap has joined the company as Senior Sales Manager. In this capacity he will be working to expand the company’s business within Europe as well as internationally.
Peter brings with him engineering and maritime experience as well as an international sales background.
Peter’s most recent employer was Lagersmit, formerly known as Sealing Solutions and owned by Royal IHC, where he served as worldwide Sales Manager in business development selling directly to the dredging industry.

Idreco BV has also closed three recent jet suction dredge sales – two in Germany and one in North America, through its sister company Rohr Dredge North America, for customized deep digging dredges that will be delivered in 2016.
