Republic of Maldives’ Ministry of Economic Development is seeking consultancy services to develop a detailed master plan for iHavan Integrated Project, located on Ihavandhippolhu atoll in Northern Maldives.

The iHavan integrated project will include the development of harbors and ports, the cargo storage areas, an international cruise facility, airport, as well as residential and commercial real estate.

Noting the high priority of the iHavan project, the Ministry said that the land reclamation phases of the project will begin in December 2016.

In its notice, the Ministry invited local and international firms to submit their proposals for this capital development plan by August 24.

“The Government will, after its evaluation of the proposals submitted, contact shortlisted parties for further negotiations, ” according to the announcement.
