Sergei Kurov, Deputy Director General of FSUE Rosmorport, paid a working visit to Makhachkala Branch of FSUE Rosmorport on Septemeber 19-20, 2016.
During the visit, Kurov inspected the dredging fleet of the Makhachkala Branch and appraised their technical state and functional readiness.
At this occasion, Makhachkala Branch of FSUE Rosmorport also revealed its plans to dredge around 465,000 cubic meters of material from the Makhachkala Port areas this year.
Dredging operations in the mentioned locations are currently being performed by self-propelled hopper dredger Deltovaya-10, DOP-200 system and recently delivered trailing suction hopper dredger Sommers.
The Deputy Director General also held a meeting with the Makhachkala Branch officials to discuss prompt completion of vessels’ repair and implementation of dredging in the Makhachkala Port areas by Rosmorport equipment.
