Central Dredging Association’s half-day seminar, named ‘Dredging for Flood Prevention and Response’, will take place today, at Institution of Civil Engineers in Westminster, London.
The event will focus on dredging in flood prevention and response: ‘What can dredging do to reduce the risk of flooding and how can it contribute to a response after a flood event?’
With case studies from the Somerset Levels, Cumbria and Scotland, regulators and advisers, the seminar will look at how dredging can play a part in flood management.
