The Sunset Beach Town Council will host a community meeting to discuss shoreline management on Saturday, October 8 at 10 a.m.
The meeting will take place at the Sea Trail Plantation’s Jones/Byrd Clubhouse at 75 Clubhouse Road, Sunset Beach, NC.
Moffatt & Nichol, an engineering company hired by the Sunset Beach Town, will make a presentation on the Town of Sunset Beach 2016 Shoreline Management and Pre-Dredging Analysis Update.
The proposed dredging areas in Jinks, Mary’s and Turtle Creeks, the Bay Area, the Feeder Channel and the finger canals along Sixth, Marlin, Dolphin, Sailfish and Cobia streets will also be discussed.
Members of the community are encouraged to attend to ask questions and add comments.
