Anders Jensen (Lifetime Achievement Award), Sina Saremi (Rising Star Award) and DHI project ‘Hvide Sande Harbor, Denmark’ were presented with top industry honors at the Dredging & Port Construction (DPC) Innovation Awards 2016 in London.
DHI’s harbor project was highly commended for the re-design of structures and of management of the dredging around the harbor, a ‘by-pass harbor’ on the Danish West coast.
The project studied and developed ways to optimize a small harbor on a coast with high littoral drift rate.
The main ceremony and gala was held on 10 November 2016 in London.
The panel of judges included industry experts, who chose the winners from among a number of high quality entries.
