Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI) and Riyada Group of Companies from Kingdom of Bahrain have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for mutual cooperation with the main goal to expand its operations in the Middle East countries.

The MoU was signed by Shri Rajesh Tripathi, the Chairman and Managing Director of DCI and Shaikha Dheya bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the President of Riyada Group.

President of Riyada Group, Shaikha Dheya , said: “We believe that DCI is a reliable and competent partner that would add value to the completion targets of the various land reclamation, dredging and ports maintenance and developments projects in our region.”

This business cooperation agreement was inked in order that DCI could project its capabilities and expertise in the areas of dredging and land reclamation to the prospective market in the Middle East region.

The deal also facilitates utilization of equipment of each other for execution of various projects like capital dredging, maintenance dredging, breakwater construction, revetments and rock placement works, land reclamation, etc.
