Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FSUE) Rosmorport has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Azov-Don Seaway Canal dredging project.
This cleanup scheme will include maintenance dredging operations on the sea parts of the Azov-Don Seaway Canal in 2017.
According to the FSUE Rosmorport’s announcement, the initial price of the contract is RUB128 million ($2.1 million).
In order to ensure safe navigation on the waterway, Rosmorport Azov Basin Branch regularly conducts dredging and hydrographic works in these areas.
The annual volume of maintenance dredging operations carried out by the branch on the canal is up to 400.000 m³ of material.
The deadline for application for this latest dredging tender is 12 January 2017.
