This maintenance cleanup opeartions will be undertaken by the 49.5m shallow draught trailing suction hopper dredger ‘Port Frederick’.

“These works will be undertaken between sunrise and sunset from Tuesday 10 January to Monday 30 January 2017 inclusive depending on suitable conditions, ” Roads and Maritime said in its announcement.

“Vessel operators are advised to exercise extreme caution when navigating in this vicinity and to pay particular attention to the dredge’s anchoring cables, pipeline, lighting and any temporary signage. The dredger will be marked in accordance with the requirements of the Collision Regulations.”
